Chinese Social Sciences Today (CSST), a newspaper sponsored by CASS and published by SSCP, provides special perspectives on a wide range of theoretical and practical issues in social sciences of the contemporary world to professional researchers and the public.

 

CSST endeavors to improve social sciences research in China, exhibit new horizons, new trends, and new achievements in Chinese academic study, and provide a public platform for social sciences researchers and general nationwide readers.

 

With getting the latest academic developments and scholarly accumulations of CASS, CSST reflects the latest trends and findings of humanities and social sciences studies in China and encourages academic criticism and innovation of theories, viewpoints and methodologies to stimulate the further development of social sciences with Chinese characteristics and the Chinese spirit. SOCIAL SCIENCES IN CHINA (ENGLISH EDITION) 《中国社会科学》(英文版)

 

Social Sciences in China (English edition) started to run quarterly in 1980, and has become one of the most important journals in social sciences and humanities published in English. It aims to introduce the latest scientific achievements, theoretical developments and research information of Chinese social sciences to overseas readers, in order to promote international cultural exchange and contribute to China's modernization and the flourishing of social sciences in China. 

 

The quarterly covers various academic areas such as economics, political science, law, sociology, ethnology, literature, history and philosophy. In addition to including some long articles in each issue, it opened a new column for in-depth study in 2002 to provide more useful information to its readers. It acts as an information window for the world to understand the Chinese Reform and Opening up, the economic developments and the current conditions in Chinese social sciences and humanities, and also a path for Chinese researchers to interact with their foreign counterparts. INTERNATIONAL SOCIAL SCIENCE JOURNAL (CHINESE EDITION)《国际社会科学杂志》(中文版)

 

International Social Science Journal (ISSJ), initiated by UNESCO in 1949, is published in six languages-English, French, German, Russian, Chinese and Spanish. Translation, editing and publication of the Chinese edition has been overseen by SSCP since 1984. 

 

Each issue of ISSJ focuses on a single subject of general interest, and includes contributions by outstanding scholars from different fields to present the latest scholarship. 

 

 

CHINA SOCIAL SCIENCE REVIEW 《中国社会科学评价》

   

Social Sciences in China Review is a quarterly journal, launched in 2015. Based on the inner nature of academic development and practical requirement, the journal explores academic review and evaluation in connection with societal practice, timely issues and national reality. Its aim is to publish research results demonstrating contemporary intellectual thoughts, build Chinese academic framework and lead Chinese humanities and social sciences into the world.

The journal is a platform for presenting academic criticism and debates as well as for academic assessments.

 

 

CHINESE JOURNAL OF LITERARY CRITICISM 《中国文学批评》

 

Chinese Literary Criticism is a quarterly journal launched in March 2015. Guided by Marxist literary theories, the journal introduces a critical perspective to reflect literary theories and literary criticism.
